As drivers get ready to head out for their Thanksgiving holiday, Sheetz is offering relief for some at the pump.
The gas station company has announced that their 88 Octane gasoline has been cut to $1.99 a gallon, which is about $1.30 a gallon less than the national average. Other octanes will be at standard prices. Unleaded 88 is a fuel blend of 15 percent ethanol and 85 percent gasoline. It’s meant to be used for any car model year 2001 or newer.
Currently, two Sheetz locations offer 88 Octane gasoline: Route 22 in Blairsville and on Franklin Street in Clymer. The offer runs through Monday. This marks the second year in a row that Sheetz has offered the Thanksgiving promotion.
