Four players each scored two goals, and the power play went 3-for-3 as Indiana outpaced West Allegheny, 10-3, last night at S&T Bank Arena.
Gabe Nettleton scored both of his goals in the first period, and Phil Bell, Garrett Goodrich, and Andrew Kobak also scored in the first period as Indiana jumped to a 5-2 lead. Ash Lockard and Landin Wilson scored in the second period along with Bell, who netted his second of the night. Indiana led 8-2 after two, and Kobak and Wilson each added their second goals of the night in the third period as Indiana outshot West Allegheny, 34-19. Bell finished with four points on the night and Wilson and Lockard each had three.
Jayden Learn made 16 saves for Indiana to earn the win in net.
Indiana is 6-3 overall and 6-1 and in second place in the Varsity A Pool. Shaler and Quaker Valley are both 7-0 and lead the standings.
Indiana will play Erie McDowell at S&T Bank Arena on Thursday, November 30.
