Gas prices in our region have been hovering around the $3.10 mark for most of the summer.
As of this morning, gasbuddy.com reports that gas prices in Indiana Borough and White Township are at $3.09 a gallon. However, depending on where you are in the county, gas prices will vary. In Homer City, gas prices are actually a bit cheaper at $3.07 a gallon, and in Blairsville, gas prices are around the $3.12 a gallon. Gas Prices in the Marion Center region are also around $3.09 a gallon.
On average, the price of a gallon of regular gas in Indiana County is $3.05 a gallon, and is the cheapest in the region. Clearfield county’s average is $3.08 a gallon. Both Cambria and Westmoreland County’s average gas price is $3.14 a gallon. Jefferson County has $3.15 a gallon, and Armstrong has the most expensive at $3.17 a gallon.
The statewide average is $3.05 a gallon, holding steady from last week, but up 1.4 cents from last month.
