Marie E. Ray, 91, of Gibsonia, formerly of Indiana, passed away Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023, at Grace Manor at North Park in Allison Park.
A daughter of Joseph and Mary (Mikeska) Gallo, she was born Oct. 3, 1932, in Ernest.
Marie was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church. For many years, she worked at Troutman’s Department Store in the Advertising and Human Resources Department. Marie showed her love for her family through her cooking. She had a sharp wit and a great sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Leroy Ray, of Gibsonia; a son, Gregory Ray and wife Celeste, of Chesterfield, VA; and a daughter, Lisa Nath, M.D., of Gibsonia; a sister, Theresa Simpson; three grandchildren, September Ray, Neil Nath, Rachel Nath; and a great granddaughter, Remmi Pacheco.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters, Joan, Elizabeth, Patricia and Helen.
Visitation and services are private. Interment will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana. Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
