Indiana County’s Commissioners will meet today and on the agenda this morning is the 2024 budget.
Nothing on the 2024 budget has been released yet. The 2023 budget came in at $49 million and contained no tax increases for county residents, keeping taxes at 4.905 mils. If the budget is given preliminary approval today, it will be put out for public inspection and advertisement before it goes before the Commissioners again for final approval next month.
Also on the proposed agenda for today are three change orders for the YMCA roof replacement project.
The meeting is scheduled for 10:30 this morning at the Commissioners meeting room at the Indiana County Courthouse. This will be the only meeting for the Commissioners this month.
