INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police have reported several noise ordinance violations over the last few days, with most of them happening on St. Patrick’s Day. Police were called out for four noise complaints in an hour’s time. The first was at 4:19 PM for loud music and yelling being heard in the 100 block of South Sixth Street. The house’s resident, 22-year-old Paul Hess of Pittsburgh, was cited in that incident. The next came at 4:59 PM, in 500 block of Church Street, and 20-year-old Tristian Gill was cited for loud music. At the same time, police reported a second loud noise complaint in the 100 block of South Sixth Street. This time 24-year-old Nicholas Lane of Allison Park was cited. And the fourth came at 5:17 PM in the 300 block of South 13th Street in the borough. This time, 21-year-old Jenna Curtis of Monaco, PA was issued the citation for playing loud music at a gathering.
Indiana Borough Police report that in the overnight hours of March 18th and 19th, someone was able to steal a stop sign from an intersection in the borough. Police say between 10:30 PM on the 18th and 9:00 AM on the 19th, someone took the sign at the intersection of North 10th Street and Oak Street. Police ask anyone with information to call them at 724-349-2121.
Police in Indiana Borough are seeking information on a bicycle theft in the Nixon Avenue Area. The theft happened between March 15th and 17th from the front of a home in the 300 block of Nixon Avenue. The bike is a Kent Tempest girl’s bicycle with aqua, pink and black colors on it. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-349-2121.
