The Penns Manor girls forced the mercy rule while taking down the District 10 champion Cambridge Springs Blue Devils, 53-25, in state quarterfinal action on Friday.
As a team, Penns Manor limited Cambridge Springs to just 6 points at the half. On an individual note, Megan Dumm and Kassidy Smith led the charge offensively as Dumm had 15 points and Smith had 14. Deja Gillo also provided in the scoring column with 12 points.

Penns Manor will now play Monday night in the PIAA state semifinal matchup against Neshannock, who defeated the Windber Ramblers, 51-48.
