IUP linebacker Drew DiNunzio-Biss was named the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week yesterday. He had ten tackles (five solo), including 4-and-a-half tackles for a loss, plus a sack in Saturday’s win over Bloomsburg.
DiNunzio-Biss, a Kiski Area grad, becomes the third IUP defensive player to win the weekly award by the conference during the 2023 season, joining Cole Weightman and Darrius Bruce.
He closes his IUP career with 214 career tackles and 94 total tackles in 2023. He also had 5-and-a-half sacks this season, and finishes his career with seven-and-a-half.
