State police in Punxsutawney have reported a fire that destroyed a two-story farmhouse and garage at 1463 Alabran Road in West Mahoning Township. The fire occurred Thursday in the early morning hours and went undetected until both structures were found completely consumed. The victim is reported as 70-year-old Ralph A. Juart of Smicksburg.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call state police in Punxsutawney at 814-958-0510.
