There are two criminal court proceedings scheduled tomorrow in Indiana County Court.
One of them is a plea court appearance by 48-year-old David Gene Crawford of Homer City for sex-related offenses. Crawford is charged with ten felonies, including rape, forcible rape, and rape of a child, along with four misdemeanor crimes, all of them sex-related. He was arrested in July of last year for incidents which allegedly occurred in July of 2020.
Should he choose not to plead tomorrow, jury selection is scheduled for January 22nd next year.
The other court case tomorrow is a hearing on a motion by 22-year-old Craig Edward Linder III to withdraw a guilty plea for drug-related crimes. On October 20th, he pleaded guilty to felony possession with intent to deliver, but six days later he filed to withdraw that plea. He’s due in the courtroom of Judge Michael T. Clark at 8:30 AM tomorrow.
