The District 6 Class A football semifinals kick off tonight with both games matching up Heritage Conference backyard rivals.
On Renda Digital TV, top seeded Northern Cambria tangles with Coal Bowl rival fourth seed Cambria Heights. The Colts beat the Highlanders, 28-11 in Week Ten of the regular season and Northern Cambria then cruised past Marion Center, 45-0 last week in the first round of the playoffs. Cambria Heights walloped West Branch, 40-6 last week in the first round.
At Purchase Line tonight, the second seeded Red Dragons take on number six Penns Manor on Renda Digital TV and Cat Country, 106.3 FM. The Comets beat Purchase Line in Week Ten, 22-19.
Purchase Line topped Mo Valley, 21-13 in the first round while Penns Manor traveled to Juniata Valley and knocked off the Hornets, 34-14.
Purchase Line coach Matt Falisec expects an intense neighborhood tussle.
