CHILD SAFETY SEAT EVENTS TO BE HELD NEXT WEEK

State police along with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration are conducting child safety seat checks in two events early next week.

The events are part of the NTSA’s upcoming “Click It or Ticket” campaign.  At these events, troopers will explain how to correctly install a child safety seat, correct any errors in installation, and provide information on best practices when it comes to installing and using the seat.  The event and checks are free of charge and appointments are not required.

The events will be held next Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 to 5:30 PM at the Indiana Fire Association Substation on Indian Springs Road in Indiana.  For a list of other child safety seat events, people can log on to psp.pa.gov.
