IUP has selected an interim vice president for student affairs.
The University announced that Charles J. Fey will take the position. Fey had retired last year after 44 years in higher education jobs. At the time of his retirement, he was serving as the Vice President of Academic Support and Student Affairs at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark. During his career, Fey has worked for nine different colleges and universities. He has also received numerous awards, including The Esther Lloyd Jones Professional service award. IUP President Micahel Driscoll said in a statement posted to the IUP Website that Fey had served in many different student affairs programming positions and will be a great fit for IUP
Fey will serve as interim vice president while the search for a new vice president of student affairs goes on.
