Two more brush fires were reported in Indiana County yesterday, bringing the county’s total to 27 for the year so far.
One brush fire was reported at 3:43 PM on Coal Run Road in Young Township. Coal Run Fire Department was dispatched to the scene. No details are available on that incident.
Marion Center and Plumville firefighters were dispatched to a brush fire on Route 119 near Olson Road in North Mahoning Township at 4:09 PM. Marion Center firefighters said that about three quarters of an acre were damaged. That call came after crews had to set up a landing zone on Pearce Hollow Road at 3:10 PM for a man who fell from a bucket truck. No other details were provided for that incident.
Blairsville and Black Lick firefighters were called in to help with a brush fire on Ravine Park Road in Westmoreland County at 5:02.
