It’s been a fairly active weekend so far for Indiana County’s first responders. On Saturday, the calls for Indiana County 911 included a landing zone set up by Commodore firefighters along Route 286 in Green Township, an automatic fire alarm answered by Indiana firefighters along Heritage Run Road in White Township, a vehicle fire along Parkwood Road in Armstrong Township to which Indiana responded, and a call for Homer City firefighters to West Indiana Street in Center Township for a carbon monoxide alarm.
Early this morning, Blairsville, Black Lick, Coral, Derry, and New Alexandria firefighters were dispatched for a structure fire along North Brady Street in Blairsville Borough, reportedly involving a single-story building. No details are available. Cherry Tree firefighters also responded to an accident on Cherry Street.
