Homer-Center swept Bishop Carroll in straight sets to clinch a spot in the PIAA District 6 1A championship game. Homer-Center won by scores of 25-12, 25-18 and 25-18.
They were led by Meegan Williams, who had 11 kills. Alaina Fabin had 9 kills and 6 blocks, Ashlyn Kerr had 18 service points, and Hannah Arone added 24 assists.
The Wildcats will face West Branch for the 1A championship Saturday afternoon at Altoona Fieldhouse. First serve is at noon.
