Along with a crash that involved a commercial vehicle and a train yesterday morning, three other vehicle accidents were reported in Indiana County.
Indiana County 911 reports that the first accident was called in at 3:05 PM on Route 286 East in Green Township. Commodore and Clymer fire departments were dispatched to the scene, along with the state police. Commodore Volunteer Fire Department and state police were called out again at 4:33 PM for an accident on Route 580 in Green Township. Citizens’ Ambulance was called to the scene at that time as well.
Indiana Fire Association was called out for the final crash call on Wednesday for an incident on Oakland Avenue in White Township at 7:59 PM. State police and Citizens’ Ambulance were dispatched at the time.
Indiana Fire Association officials say that a car was turning into the Regency Mall Plaza to go to Martin’s when a motorcycle collided with the car’s rear passenger side door. The motorcyclist was injured and taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The names of those involved were not released.
Reports on the other two accidents have not yet been released.
