IUP Field Hockey enters the PSAC tournament as the No. 6 seed and opens play this afternoon against No. 3 seed Kutztown.
IUP wrapped up its season with an 8-7 overall record and a 4-5 PSAC record and clinched a playoff berth last week. The Crimson Hawks are led by Jess Davidson, who has 11 goals this season. It also marks the first playoff appearance for second-year head coach Kelly Terwilliger.
Opening draw is set for 3:30 p.m. The winner will face top seed East Stroudsburg in the semifinals Nov. 3.
