Four roads closed by PennDOT due to flood related issues remain closed this morning.
PennDOT reports in a media release that the following roads remain closed after the rain came through:
- Rexis Road, closed between River Road in East Wheatfield Township and Mack Road in Buffington Township
- River Road closed in Buffington Township between Route 403 and Bracken Road
- Cemetery Road closed in Clymer Borough and Cherryhill Township
- Oneida Mine Road, closed between Dilltown Heights Road in Buffington Township and Longs Road in Brush Valley
The roads will open as soon as the flooding abates. In the meantime, you are advised not to drive through standing water, and slow down to a speed that’s safe for the surrounding conditions.
