State police have released more information on a vehicle crash that happened yesterday in Rayne Township.
Troopers say they were initially dispatched to a crash where a car hit a deer on Route 403 North in Rayne Township. The impact triggered the car’s airbags to deploy. The car was disabled as a result of the crash. The driver, 47-year-old Tammie Bash-Wilson of Dixonville, tried to get out while crawling under the airbags, but tripped while doing so and fell out of the car. The car then rolled over her left leg.
The injuries were reportedly minor, but she was taken to IRMC as a precaution.
