Indiana Borough Police are investigating the theft of a black and purple girl’s Schwinn mountain bike. The theft happened between noon on Thursday and 7:30 PM on Friday at a home in the 200 block of Water Street. Anyone with information should call Indiana Borough Police at 724-349-2121.

State Police in Indiana are investigating a burglary that happened earlier this month. Police believe that between 4 PM on July 13th and 4 PM on the 27th, someone was able to enter the home of a woman on Medlar Drive in White Township through a rear window. While nothing was taken, the woman did notice puncture marks on the doors and walls by unknown means. Police do not have a suspect, but if you have any information, call them at 724-357-1960.
Few details are known about an incident in the East Wheatfield Township area involving drugs and a traffic stop. State Police are saying that they pulled over an un-named 29-year-old Josephine woman for a traffic violation, and seized heroin and related paraphernalia from her. This happened Friday evening around 5:20 PM.
PSP-GREENSBURG
State Police in Greensburg have charged a Torrance inmate with harassment. This happened on July 19th at the state hospital around 8:00 PM. Two patients were involved in the fight, and a 20-year-old woman pushed a 49-year-old woman during the fight. A non-traffic citation was filed out of District Judge Mark Billik’s office in Westmoreland County.
