IUP’s office of International Education is getting ready to celebrate Unity Day later this week.
The Unity Day fair will be held in the upper level of IUP’s Hadley Union Building from 6-9 PM on October 27th. 30 booths will be set up for the first part of the fair, which will run from 6-7:30, with food samples available. There will also be a children’s room open during that time featuring crafts, face painting and a photo booth. Then from 7:30-9:00 PM, several dance and musical selections will be offered by student and regional performers in the Hub’s Ohio Room. Nine different acts will perform during the show.
The Office of International Education Director of International Student and Scholar Services Emma Archer said in a statement that the event is returning after not taking place for four years. She called the event a “great opportunity to explore the world’s diversity in one night, through international cuisine, poster displays, and entertainment.”
The event is free and open to the community.
