Still reeling from back-to-back losses against Detroit and, more recently, St. Louis, the Penguins return to the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex looking to fine tune things ahead of tomorrow night’s game against the surging Dallas Stars.
The Penguins were tripped up against the Blues on Saturday, surrendering three unanswered goals between the second and third periods along with four giveaways.
A very terse Coach Mike Sullivan said the Penguins gave St. Louis too many scoring opportunities.
Sullivan adds his team had scoring chances too but whiffed on a lot of them.
Forward Lars Eller said the Pens’ trouble stems from lack of execution.
Tomorrow night’s game airs at 6:30 p.m. on U92.5 FM and U92radio.com.

Edmonton will be without star Connor McDavid for one-to-two weeks after he suffered an upper-body injury in Saturday’s game against Winnipeg. He’s recorded two goals and six assists in five games.
