A four-day closure of a portion of Wayne Avenue takes effect at 9 o’clock this morning as workers lay down new asphalt.
Traffic will be detoured off the busy roadway from Carter Avenue to South 7th Street at “the point”. The posted detour uses Indian Springs Road to Route 954/South 6th Street, to Philadelphia Street to South 7th Street. The road will reopen at 6 o’clock on Monday morning.
The $440,328 resurfacing project will be completed next month.
