Marion Center’s school board meets tonight, with an agenda focused mainly on preparations for next month’s opening of the new school year.
The board will consider approval of the elementary and secondary student handbooks. Also on the agenda is the purchase of library furniture, with a tab of about $57,000. The board will also take up motions for agreements for ambulance coverage and school photography, acknowledge boosters organizations for a number of sports teams, and the McCreery and Rayne Township elementary PTA groups.
Finally, there could be a new “bee” approved as the Marion Center Stingers’ logo.
