The Steelers have signed center J.C. Hassenauer to a one-year contract worth an estimated $780,000.
Hassenauer started three games at center and one at guard as an injury replacement last season. He will be needed for depth on the offensive line with Maurkice Pouncey having retired and the Steelers shopping for a new starter.
