Kittanning-based state police yesterday released a list of nineteen fugitives from justice. Most are wanted in Armstrong County and several in Allegheny County. Among those listed for criminal charges in Armstrong County is a man who was involved in a high-profile arson case in Indiana County four years ago.
22-year-old Tyler Michael Hill is wanted in Armstrong County for possession of a controlled substance, DUI controlled substance, and driving violations committed in April of last year in West Kittanning Borough.
Hill has been involved in several criminal cases in Indiana County, most notably the arson burning of the V King Corporation building along Route 954 in Brush Valley Township in July of 2014. The business sustained over a million dollars damage and the elderly owner retired rather than rebuild. V King was a manufacturer of large custom drills and accessories, primarily for the mining industry. Hill lived in Homer City at the time of the arson case. He’s also lived in Apollo and his last known address was in Kittanning. He pleaded guilty to reduced charges of felony reckless burning and criminal mischief and served a short time in prison. His stepbrother also pleaded guilty in the case.
Anyone who knows of the whereabouts of Hill or the others listed in the report should contact state police in Kittanning at 724-543-2011. The information will be kept confidential and you are warned not to try to apprehend the individuals by yourself.
