Indiana Borough Police’s comfort K-9 received some essential gear to help him do his job safely.
Police announced that K-9 officer Axel received his bullet and stab protective vest from the non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s. The charity provides body-armor vests and other assistance to police dogs and dogs in other agencies across the US. Since its inception, the group has provided over 5200 vests to K-9 officers in all 50 states. The program is open to all dogs in the US that are at least 20 months old and actively employed and certified with law enforcement or related agencies.
