The Indiana School Board is expected to name a new assistant superintendent at tonight’s special meeting.
The announcement of a possible new assistant superintendent comes less than a week after the school board directed the administration to post the job opening internally. Last Monday, the Board formally accepted the resignation of Jeffrey Boyer, who resigned to take over as superintendent with the Antietam School District near Reading. No details have been provided about who the potential candidate is, or how much will be offered as a salary.
The board will also consider tonight a contract to pave the East Pike parking lot and driveway, and a review of elementary class sizes will be brought up for discussion. The meeting will start at 6:00 tonight at the district’s offices.
