IUP’s longtime Vice President of Student Affairs has announced her retirement.
Rhonda Luckey, has been with IUP for the last 30 years. In an announcement on IUP’s website, IUP president Michael Driscoll said that she was dedicated to the students, and was well respected by her peers at other schools in the state system. She was also called part of the soul of IUP and a key member of IUP’s leadership.
In the same statement, Luckey said she was grateful to the university for allowing her to serve IUP and its students.
An interim Vice President for Student Affairs will take over for Luckey in Mid-August, and that will allow a national search to be conducted by the university to find the next person to hold the position. A search committee will be formed in September.
