No one was lucky on Friday the 13th at least when it came to the Mega Millions multi-state lottery game.
No one picked all the numbers for the Mega Millions jackpot, so it will roll over to an annuity prize of $375 million, and an estimated cash option of $226 million. That will be drawn for on Tuesday, July 17th.
The winning numbers were 21-22-39-59-68 with a megaball of 2 and the megaplier was 2.
Even though no one won the jackpot, check your tickets nonetheless as you may have won one of the lesser prizes. Mega Millions reported that they had 1,116,323 winning tickets sold for the lesser prizes, including a one-million dollar winner in Arizona and 24 tickets winning the third prize of $10,000 (or $20,000 if you bought the Megaplier option)
If Tuesday’s jackpot is won, it would represent the 10th highest jackpot in the game’s history. The largest jackpot in the game’s history was won in March of 2012, when it was $656 million, which was split between three winning tickets.
