The Penguins will host the Philadelphia Flyers for the third straight game at PPG Paints arena this afternoon, with a limited number of fans in attendance once again. The last time the two teams met was on Thursday when the Pens blew a 3-0 lead to lose to the Flyers 4-3.
On Friday, Penguins defensemen Brian Dumolin and Jusso Rikkola along with forward Evan Rodrigues were full participants at practice. While Mike Sullivan stopped short of declaring the three as ready to go for today’s game, it is an option that is on the table. Dumolin has been out since January 26th with a lower-body injury, while Rodrigues was out since January 24th with a lower-body injury and Rikolla was out since January 20th with an upper-body injury.
