RIZIKI CAFE RAISES OVER $2500 FOR HUMANE SOCIETY

A café and restaurant in Indiana County committed to helping the community has made its latest donation to the Indiana County Humane Society.

Riziki Café at the Jimmy Stewart Airport on Airport Road donates all the tips collected along with cash donations and sugar cookie sales to a different charity each month.  For September, the café chose the Indiana County Humane Society as its beneficiary, and they raised $2,582.37.  The money will be used to further the Humane Society’s efforts to prevent cruelty to animals and provide a safe and compassionate haven for them.

The long-awaited bike-pedestrian bridge across Route 22 is now open! What do you think?

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
