GIRLS TENNIS
The WPIAL Double-A tennis championship tournament gets underway today. Fourth seeded Indiana will host number thirteen Central Valley at the White Township Recreation Complex. The top seed is Knoch, which has a bye today.
VOLLEYBALL
There is a big Heritage Conference West volleyball match tonight at West Shamokin, where the Wolves host Marion Center. Both teams are 10-2 in the conference after the Stingers were upset by Purchase Line last week.
Homer-Center is third in the West at 8-3. The Wildcats play 3-9 River Valley tonight and then visit West Shamokin on Thursday.
Northern Cambria is tops in the Heritage Conference East at 10-2 with Conemaugh Township second, at 8-4.
