Things looked good for the Penguins last night. Sidney Crosby was back after a brief timeout in covid-19 protocol and the Pens jumped to an early 3-0 lead. But that was the high point of the evening as the Pens fell to the Flyers.

In addition to McCann, the Penguins got goals from Kris Letang and defenseman Mark Friedman, but Friedman had to leave the game in the second period after absorbing a blow to the head from Philadelphia’s Nolan Patrick.
Coach Mike Sullivan says the Penguins let up after their third goal.
