Pirates’ director of sports medicine Todd Tomczyk said yesterday that Cole Tucker’s left thumb contusion and Adam Frazier’s groin injury are both minor and they both should be back on the field soon. Outfielder Jared Oliva is dealing with lower back tightness but Tomczyk says he should be ready to play soon after resuming light baseball activities.
According to multiple reports, the Brewers have agreed to a two-year, $24 million deal with former Red Sox outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr.
