IUP, Indiana Borough and State Police reported no major incidents for Friday night of Homecoming Weekend, but they did say that activity was busier than normal.
According to the I-ACT report sent out Saturday morning, Indiana Borough Police reported a safe environment along with the increase in traffic, and thanked the visitors, citizens and students for the collective respect and support. 60 calls for service were reported, ranging from theft to drug overdoses to DUI, and three non-IUP students were arrested.
IUP Police reported 15 routine service calls, including seven traffic stops. One non-student was arrested on suspicion of DUI-Controlled substance.
State Police reported no large gatherings and four DUI arrests.
