With Saturday’s crowning of the Homer Center girls and West Shamokin boys as Heritage Conference basketball champions, the high school basketball season now shifts to district playoffs, and it begins tonight in the WPIAL with the Indiana girls in action at Moon High School.
That’s a 5:40 airtime on WDAD, AM 1450 and 100.3 FM, and you can listen to the game on the stream here.
Tomorrow night, four District 6 playoff games will involve Heritage Conference teams. All games through Friday tip off at 7 p.m.

On Thursday, Boys AAA gets underway with Marion Center traveling to Bishop Guilfoyle.
The Boys Class A and Girls AA semifinals are Friday, and the Boys AA semis are Saturday.
Finals are set to begin next Tuesday in Class A, Wednesday in AA, and Thursday in AAA. Only district champions will advance into the state tournament this year.
