The State House Appropriations Committee will wrap up its budget hearings this week, and the Senate will begin their hearings on Monday, March 8th.
The Monday session for the House committee this week includes the Department of Education, which will take most of the day, with testimony beginning at 10 AM, and then resuming after lunch at 1 PM. The Pennsylvania Commission for Community Colleges is then scheduled at 3 PM. Tuesday’s session will feature the Department of Labor & Industry, and on Wednesday, it will be the turn of the Department of Human Services. Thursday’s session will conclude the budget hearings with the Budget Secretary and Governor’s Executive Offices offering testimony.
