There still has been no official announcement of a quarterback change – or any personnel moves – by Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi in advance of next week’s game against Louisville at Acrisure Stadium.
Multiple sources yesterday speculated that Phil Jurkovec would be benched in favor of Christian Veilleux, and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Jurkovec not only lost the job as starting quarterback, he is no longer a quarterback. According to the PG, Jurkovec lined up as a tight end at yesterday’s practice.
