White Township is looking for entries for their annual Halloween House Decorating Contest.
Township residents who think they have the best-decorated house are encouraged to enter for free. This marks the fourth year for the contest, which started in 2020. Home decorations can be scary or silly, quirky or macabre, but should be appropriate for all ages. Officials also remind everyone that displays should not be attached to fire hydrants, road signs, utility poles or other features not owned by the residents, should not block progress on sidewalks and not contain fire, sharp objects, sprays or other harmful items. Displays done by professionals are not eligible.
Gift packages will be awarded to the winners, which will be announced at the October 25th township supervisors meeting. For more information or to enter, you can log on to the White Township Website.
