INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
An Indiana man is charged with resisting arrest, evading arrest and disorderly conduct for an incident at a convenience store in Indiana Borough on September 24th. Indiana Borough police said they were trying to serve an arrest warrant on Tyrone Thomas III in the 300 block of Philadelphia Street at 2:38 AM when he started to flee on foot. He was eventually apprehended and taken into custody. He is now in the county jail on the outstanding warrant, and the additional charges were filed through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
Police in Indiana Borough are asking the public for assistance in finding those responsible for a hit-and-run crash on Monday. Officers said that the crash happened at 11:08 PM in the 1100 block of Philadelphia Street. The victim said that they collided with another vehicle and while trying to speak with the driver, they left the scene. Police are investigating further.
