Police in Blairsville Borough have arrested an individual on drug-related crimes.
Officers took 38-year-old Richard Shaffer of Blairsville into custody on Friday, September 29th on multiple arrest warrants, including possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, domestic relations charges and other crimes. When police took him into custody, he was found to have a hypodermic needle in his possession. Shaffer admitted that it was for drug use.
He now faces an additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Shaffer was taken to Indiana County Jail on the outstanding warrants.
