TWO INDIANA GOLFERS AIM FOR STATE TOURNEY AT WPIAL CHAMPIONSHIP

The WPIAL Triple-A boys golf championships conclude today with the final round at ValleyBrook Country Club in McMurray.  Penn-Trafford star Nick Turowski has a one-stroke lead over Upper St. Clair’s Connor McKenzie after Turowski shot even par 72.

Indiana’s Trevor Todd is eight strokes off Turowski’s pace at 80 and will tee off at 9:56 AM today, and Harrison Martineau is one stroke behind Todd.  He tees off at 9:24.

Todd is in a tie for 14^th and Martineau is tied for 20^th.  The top fourteen scores plus ties will make it into the field for the 36-hole state championship tournament October 18^th, at Penn State, provided their score today does not exceed 100.
