His agent says Ben Roethlisberger will be back at quarterback for the Steelers next season, after Big Ben and team owner Art Rooney II reportedly sat down and talked it over yesterday.
Agent Ryan Tollner says the Steelers will be in touch soon about restructuring the quarterback’s contract to relieve salary cap issues and bring Ben back for an 18th season. Tollner told the NFL Network that the terrible ending of the season this year “doesn’t sit well for (Ben), so the fire burns strong and there is plenty of gas left in the tank.”
Big Ben turns 39 years old next month.
