Pitt fell to 1-4 with a 38-21 loss at Virginia Tech on Saturday night, and coach Pat Narduzzi’s Panthers have to face undefeated Louisville next.
Pitt’s offense was a disaster again, with Phil Jurkovec completing just 11-of-22 passes . He did manage to throw for 235 yards and two touchdowns but most of his production was on the first two possessions and the offense went dormant after that. The run game was abysmal, squeaking out just 38 yards while the Pitt defense yielded 400 yards to one of the worst offenses in the ACC.
Pitt has a bye this week before the October 14 game against the Cardinals.
