The Indiana County NAACP Executive Committee will be hosting a panel discussion tomorrow to discuss African Americans, covid-19, and the vaccination.
The organization says the event will focus on communication, fair and equitable distribution of the vaccine, the effect and the status of the virus and the vaccine distribution, in light of complaints and concerns raised about the vaccine’s availability for African Americans in the county.
Panelists will include Dr. Richard Neff, the Chief Medical Officer of IRMC; Emergency management Agency Director Tom Stutzman, County Commissioner Sherene Hess, and Herman Fisher, the NAACP Legal Redress Chair.
The event is from 7 to 8:30 PM and is open to everyone via Zoom. To gain access, visit the Indiana County NAACP Facebook page, where you will find the Zoom login link.
