With the status of Pressley Harvin III in question due to a hamstring injury, the Steelers signed former punter Brad Wing to their practice squad Wednesday afternoon.
Wing played for Pittsburgh in 2014, appearing in 16 games before he was traded to the Giants. He landed 20 punts inside the 20-yard line while racking up 2,668 yards.
Should Harvin miss Sunday’s game at Houston, Wing will likely move up to the active roster.
The Steelers also signed former Jaguars wideout Jalen Camp to the practice squad. He appeared in five games with the Jaguars and Texans between two seasons.
To make room, the team released cornerback Kalon Barnes.
