PennDOT is asking people to take part in an online survey to give feedback on the agency’s construction and maintenance services.
Construction and maintenance work has been underway across the state since the start of the year. Between January and August, 485 bridges were put out for bid to be repaired, replaced or preserved by PennDOT, and so far, 161 state and local bridges have been completed, including 17 bridges that were put out for bid this year. Also between January and August, crews have worked on more than 3,100 miles of road, and that includes 1,065 miles of paving.
The 24-question survey asks participants how they receive PennDOT roadway information and how often does PennDOT meet or exceed expectations in construction and maintenance activities. People are also asked about experiences in reporting concerns to the department, and if they use the state’s 511 services.
