ASSAULT/HARASSMENT
Indiana Borough Police say they responded to a report of domestic assault in the 700 block of Philadelphia Street shortly after midnight on Saturday. An unnamed victim told them Tyrone Thomas III assaulted her, and officers noticed visible injuries to her when they showed up. Thomas allegedly fled the scene before police arrived and a warrant for his arrest was issued.
Thomas was located and arrested Sunday around 2:38 AM. He was lodged in Indiana County Jail to await arraignment and a criminal complaint for simple assault and harassment through Magisterial Judge Guy Haberl’s Office.
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS
Indiana Borough Police also arrested a Glen Campbell woman following an incident Sunday morning.
Officers say they were called to a home along the 100 block of North 7th Street shortly after 3 AM for a report of an unknown person on the porch. Upon arrival, they discovered 21-year-old Alyxandra Cornetto was intoxicated to the point where she was a danger to herself or others. She was arrested and placed in Indiana County Jail on a temporary detainer.
Cornetto was later issued a non-traffic citation for public drunkenness through Judge Haberl’s office.
